A Flexible corner is the perfect way to go around a corner that is an irregular bend as if can be used for any angle required (internally and externally). It also provides a softer bend than conventional corners

A Bull nose end terminal will gently finish off a double sided run of Armco with a rounded end.

Pedestrian ends do exactly what they say. They finish off a length of Armco with a rounded end to protect any pedestrians from damage if they bump into it.

Push on end caps are the cheapest way to finish off a run of Armco, they will protect from any sharp edges at the end of the Armco beam. These are the cheapest and easiest solution for ending a run of armco. We stock them in Yellow and Grey colours.

Good for protecting pedestrians at corners, with one to each barrier end It will provide a softer edge to prevent catching clothes.

The RSJ is 127x76 beam

GH buffer posts are ideal for situations where protecting building infrastructure as well as vehicles is important.

The spring-steel construction enables the barrier to absorb the impact of the collision whilst also returning some of the force back onto the origin.

Ideal for multi-storey car park applications, the GH post is easy to both install and replace. Whether or not you require the need for GH buffers will be determined by your project specification, so check with our sales team to ensure you have the right components for your needs.

GH Buffers come in 610mm and 760mm lengths

Box section posts like the image are designed for corner Armco use. But as they are not a standard post each one will be made to measure and can be designed to any of the specifications you desire. It can also come without a base plate so can be dug in.

This type is made for Armco but can be made to fit berry beam and box beams.

Flexi Post System

Flexi-Posts are a semi-flexible floor mounted system. The upper part of the post is mounted into a rubber shock absorber which allows a limited deflection of the post.

This reduces Force F (see EN 1991-1 (BS6399)) from 152kN to 69kN. It also reduces the anchor bolt forces and reduces the risk of damage to barriers, floors and vehicles.

The RSJ is 127x76 and comes in sizes: 560, 610 & 760.

Z posts are the standard component for fixing Armco crash barrier into the ground. They offer the basic level of protection but likely won’t withstand heavier impacts, like dig-in RSJ posts will.

RB buffers are perfect for use wherever medium impact risks are present. Designed to cushion the impact of heavy vehicles to protect buildings and infrastructure, they are perfectly suited to warehouse and industrial applications. The RB1X Flexible Spring Steel Buffer post offers an economical footprint and the deflection can be contained within the barrier area by reducing post centres. A base plate can be used, if required, to spread the impact load on the buffer over a wider surface area to avoid damage to the substrate and to assist in levelling the buffer installation on un-even surfaces. This post is the space efficient planted spring buffer, the slim, socket design enables them to be easily and affordably replaced. 76x10mm

In areas where there is insufficient room for a surface mounted barrier. U & Cranked spring steel buffers can be installed. These mounting brackets will protect the wall from the full force of the collision and minimise damage to the wall.

These holding down bolts are the main way the base-plated posts are secure to the floor. M16x140 &M20x160 are pictured above but we can adapt to provide your needs with other fixings. Such as studded bar with a high strength resin fix.
